Spoiled by aunts and uncles

I think it's quite clear at this point that little Ryan is going to be very loved -- and very spoiled.

This week, we received two packages: one from Mike's sister and soon-to-be-brother-in-law, and one from my brother and sister-in-law. All four are quite obviously excited to be aunts and uncles for the first time, particularly my sister-in-law, who finally gets to shop for boy things after spending the past several years buying only girly stuff for their three daughters.

First up was the package from Erica and Patrick (aka Auntie Boozy and Uncle Boat), which included several cute outfits and tiny blue and white socks:

Can you guess which outfit Uncle Boat picked out? Yep, the little fishing bear. ;) We're also very amused by the "My Dad is awesome; fun; the best" onesie, heehee.

A few days later, package #2 arrived, from Auntie Jen and Uncle Dave, which included a totally adorable outfit, blanket and stuffed dog (whom Mike has named "LeBron"):

  1. i had like two other sleeper thingies i was going to get, then i saw that one. i figured, in sept in AZ , footless is still ok! haha. plus the moneky was just too cute. and the blanket was soft. again, i had three to pick from, but i liked that it said "giggle". haha.Plus each of our girls had their own "soft" blanket for the floor. i love those soft blankets. perfect for floor play!
and the Dog, Cara helped me pick him out at a store when we were out with my mom at Southpark mall. he was the first gift bought!

  2. Yeah, I LOVE the footless outfit, and that blanket is definitely going to be great to lay him down on our hard floors! It's already washed and awaiting his arrival. ;)

And I love that Cara helped pick out the dog! I always knew she had good taste. :)

  3. It DEFINITELY has been fun shopping around! I plan to spoil little Ryan/pumpkin as much as you two will let me. I'm excited to see what all goes on the registry!
