20 weeks

*The baby is now the size of a ... Cantaloupe (weight) or a banana (length). That's pretty long, ya'll.

*How I'm feeling: Definitely feeling pregnant! I've been queasy the past couple of days, and a little sluggish. I think my body is just adjusting to the sudden weight gain.

*Physical differences from last week: The other morning, I caught a glimpse at myself in the mirror and asked Mike, "Is it just me, or am I getting bigger every day?!" He agreed with the assessment of my rapid growth. And last night, I walked past him and he said, "Aw, look at you, lookin' all pregnant." I'm definitely feeling more pregnant (as opposed to just pudgy). It has become a little more challenging to get in and out of Mike's car, which is a lot lower to the ground than mine. So we're now mostly driving the CR-V on the weekends. And it's taking a little more effort to do simple things like bend over to pick something up off the ground. I'm not to the point where I can't do these things... but I can tell that this is the beginning of mundane tasks becoming slightly more challenging.

*What's been on my mind: Trying to figure out how to arrange the nursery. Practically every time I walk past that room, I pause to glance in and picture possible furniture arrangements. We're limited on space and really only have 2 full walls to work with (one wall has a big window and one other side is entirely closet space). Our dresser should be coming in this week, and once that is in there, we'll have a better idea of how to arrange things.

*What I'm looking forward to: In response to many requests from our families, we're going to register this weekend. I'll take any excuse to peruse through Babies R Us!

*Other random thoughts: I'm 20 weeks along now... that means I'm basically halfway through this pregnancy! I can't even imagine how that is possible. Time has never flown by as quickly as it has during the past four months.
