Bath time!

Sunday was a big "get baby stuff done" day for me. At the beginning of the day, our kitchen table was still acting as a massive dumping ground for all sorts of shower gifts and other gifts we'd received in the mail over the past couple of weeks. I woke up with a major burst of energy, so I capitalized on it and did 763 loads of laundry and got everything organized in the little guy's room again.

Mike was out running errands for most of the morning while I tazmanian-deviled my way through the condo. When he got back, I thought maybe it was time to bust out our new baby bathtub. At first, I just wanted to take it out of the box and find a place to store it. But it was just so darn cute...

So we found ourselves setting it up. We figured out how to put the legs down and how to adjust the inside for a newborn. The bottom of it is made of type of material you'd find in a baby pool, and you have to inflate it. So Mike decided he should blow it up to see how it would look:

Well, then it looked really cute. And so we thought maybe we should just put a little water in it, to see how it would look... and that was cute, too, but it was missing something... bath toys!

It's quite possible that we're going to be bigger kids than Ryan will be.

  1. aww! cute tub! better that ours, we have an all plastic one and it SUCKS!!!

if you didnt get one i recomend a bath seat too. for when little guy is bigger and can sit supported. its so much easier to sit them in that in the big tub. baby tubs are awesome for when they are tiny, but its hard ( uncomfy for YOU ) to wash them, especially when they get bigger ( in kyleigh's case, she got too darn big too fast! she barely fits in her baby tub but too little for the seat since she cant sit!).

  2. I'm pretty sure if Patrick saw this post, he would ask if we could find an adult version somewhere.
