A pregnancy perk

I ran out on my lunch break today to get some essentials from the grocery store: spray butter and Skittles. (Hey, they're essential to me, ok?)

I pulled through the parking and saw it... an "Expectant Mom's Parking Space."

I only contemplated it for a second before pulling in. I thought to myself, "Oh, you don't need that... you're five and a half months pregnant, not EIGHT and a half months... Oh, what the heck. This might be the only one I come across, and I am expecting. And less walking in heels = excellent."

I'm not gonna lie: It was pretty cool.

  1. I have only found these twice during my pregnancy. Apparently no one in FL remembers that pregnant people go to the grocery store. I see them at TRU/BRU and spotted them at a plaza with Old Navy/Marshalls/Ross the day of our big ultrasound. I usually try to walk extra steps in parking lots, but I must admit I feel the need to take advantage of them whenever I can.

  2. I know, they're very rare! That's why I sort of felt like I should take advantage of it. I was afraid it might be the only chance I got. ;)
