The Great Big Car Seat Installation

We all have our fixations. Mine has been securing stuff in the house. I'm very much afraid of Ryan pulling over a dresser or a TV onto himself (the dresser is now secured to the wall, and we're getting a flat screen TV mounted to the wall, much to Mike's delight).

Oh, and then there's that whole labor and delivery thing. It's fair to say I'm fixated on that, too. But any pregnant woman who isn't fixated on that just isn't normal, in my opinion.

I've mentioned before that Mike's fixation is the car seat. He tries to deny it (re: "Oh, I'm not really thinking about that at all..."), but I see right through him (re: "I'm thinking about those car seats again...").

On Sunday, the heat broke for a bit, and he went to it. He installed the car seat bases in both of our cars. We have one seat that easily attaches into the bases, so whoever has the baby will have the car seat.

I took a little video of him finishing up the installation in my car. Yeah, the video is sideways. I don't use the video feature much and forgot that you have to hold the camera horizontally... oops. But you still get the idea. I think you'll know what my favorite part of the video is...
