It turns out that it's too bulky to really be comfortable and all it does is impede my regular tossing and turning, which results in making me even more restless. Last night I was wide awake from about 2:30 to 3:30 a.m., which is frustrating when you know you have to get up at 5 a.m. for work and will be exhausted.
I've never been a sound sleeper. It has often felt like I spend 90 percent of my sleep time in REM sleep, dreaming away. (When you wake up after a night full of dreaming, you don't feel all that rested, you know?) And pregnancy has just amplified this.
Maybe it's time for me to start sleeping on the couch. I never seem to have a problem falling asleep there.
Well, at least the little guy was up with me last night, kicking and rolling away while I tossed and turned. It was nice to have some company!

i never bought one, i just used multiple pillows. lol. but i hear those curved ones work well. they are shaped to a preggo body.
ReplyDeleteI found this one pillow system that looked AMAZING. It was designed by a woman after she was pregnant and couldn't get comfortable for months on end. I was all about it until I saw that it was like $200 and nearly had a heart attack. It did look comfy, though.
ReplyDeleteyeah, 200$ is a tad much
